Earlier in the afternoon Brian and I spent some time fitting new led lighting in the dome,it works far better than the old bulk head lights .
Seems like first clear night in months so I opened up 8.00pm ,soon joined by Paul,Elaine and Rhys.
Quick look at Mars before it set then onto M11,M13,M31 double cluster all to a rapidly clearing sky then to Alberio and the garnet star,clouds appeared by 10.15 so retired for a hot drink when we came out the sky had gone so closed down 10.40.
The dome worked flawlessly and all like the new red led lighting.
