Lots of hope but with not much conviction, following a forecast of full cloud, we went down to Austerfield for 9:30pm, for the Perseids, and put up our loungers to began staring at the clouds. It started with half cloud but soon progressed to full cloud with no prospects, so we gave in and went home at 11:30pm. I saw 1, Sandra saw 3 and a couple of others saw 2.
We were Sandra, Elaine and Paul, Tony, Sue, Bev and Vic.
