A group of 15 seven to nine year old for stargazing from Our Lady of Perpetual Help school.
A late start at this time of year arrived at 9.00pm opened the dome and set up the laptop and white board.Started the talk at 9.30 managed to spin it out till 10.15 but still not dark.
Cloud cover about 95% so showed the first group how we control the dome and telescope managed to see Aldebran, swapped groups and the sky cleared, all 15 managed to see Mars and Jupiter including 4 moons what really excited then was being able to name them via the sky software.A very good interested group.
Closed down 11.15 to the clouds again covering the sky.
